2011 Assessment
Property owners in SpringWood Estates are subject to the Covenants and pay annual assessments to
support the services provided by their association.
The assessment amount is determined by the yearly budget which itemizes the projected cost for landscaping, legal fees, utilities, entertainment,
SHA administration cost,
web site and insurance, etc.

Assessment notification letters will be sent out on January 26, 2011. This payment meets the Annual Assessment requirements from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011.
The accounts become delinquent, if outstanding, on March 1, 2011. Fees are delinquent
and begin to accrue interest and fees on March 2, 2011.
After March 1, 2011: A past due notice will be mailed to the owner only once, and interest
at a rate of 12% per annum plus $10 late fee will apply to the outstanding balance.
After May 1, 2011: A certified letter will be mailed by the attorney informing the owner
that if their assessment plus interest, penalty and attorney fees are not paid,
a lien will be filed against the property.
After June 1, 2011: a lien affidavit will be file for registry and recorded in the Clerk of
Court's office for the Parish of Plaquemines.
